Melaka Sentral
Melaka City has a modern inter-city transportation terminal known as Melaka Sentral with scheduled transportation services to Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru and other major towns in Peninsular Malaysia. Melaka Sentral is currently the most sophisticated bus and taxi stop centre in Malaysia. There are no other bus and taxi stop centre in any major cities in Malaysia apart from Melaka Sentral.
Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Melaka
Malacca also has an airport in Batu Berendam which caters for transportation from surrounding areas. The Batu Berendam Airport is being upgraded and is expected to be ready in 2009. Once it is completed, bigger aircrafts such as Boeing 737 will be able to land.
