16 April - Thanksgiving Ceremony and Reading of Yasin Perdana in conjunction with the Celebration of the 23rd Anniversary of the Historic City of Melaka was held at Mosque Al-Azim, State of Melaka.

This ceremony was completed by YB Datuk Rais bin Datuk Wira Yasin, Senior EXCO of Housing, Local Government, Drainage, Climate Change and Disaster Management. Present with His Excellency Datuk Hj. Shadan bin Hj. Othman, MBMB Mayor, Clr. Shaiful Hizam bin Johan, Central Malacca District Officer, Clr. Ir. Mohamad Salzeli bin Mokhtar, Director of JKR State of Melaka, members of the Council, Mr. Muhammad Firdaus bin Shariff, Secretary of MBMB City, department and unit heads and citizens Malacca city.

There was also a presentation of contributions in the form of mock cheque to Al-Azim Mosque, Pondok Darul Ulum Al Arabiyyah Al-Islamiyah, and five selected schools. Heartfelt appreciation to the students who attended to organize this program.
