Jonker Walk is well known for its art galleries, antique shops, among them goldsmiths, watch repairers, clog makers and beaded shoemakers, food outlets and many more. It is truly a place where the culture and traditions of Malacca seem to seep from every nook and cranny of the quaint little shops which line this street. The street becomes a flea market for antique lovers every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6pm to midnight.

From a height of 80 meters and a view of 5km, the visitor can witness a host of interesting sight and historical sights of Malacca straits, TUDM complex, Stadthuys, S1. The three attractions here are Ferris Wheel which now famous with the name of Eye On Melaka, Pirate Ship And Tramboline Bungee. At the highest point on the island exist a large boulder that is split down the middle. It is named "Batu Belah" and is a favourite destination for local pilgrims. The island is considered a holy place by local believers. Visitors are advised to abstain from consuming pork on the eve of the daj of visit and throughout their stay there. They are also to be in their best behavior while on the island. Visitor can board motorboats at Pernu, Umbai for the short to the island.
